  • Presenters willing to present at UDAAN 2025 must be a registered delegate at the time of submission of paper/poster. Both Authors need to pay the registration fees of Rs. 500/-
  • Presentations can be submitted under 2 categories- Students and Doctors. Student category is for undergraduate students and interns. Doctors include post graduate students, faculties and practitioners.
  • Presentations headings: Clinical, Research And Innovative. The presenter has to specify the type of presentation in the prescribed format (for example:- clinical/research/innovative)
  • One registered delegate can submit maximum 1 Paper + 1 Poster.
  • A paper/poster can have maximum 2 authors. Certificates will be given to both the authors.
  • The presenter should adhere to the time limit for presentation. All Paper presentations will be for a duration of 4 minutes followed by a discussion of 2 minutes. All poster presentations will be for a duration of 3 minutes followed by a discussion of 2 minutes.
  • Don’t mention your name and other personal details in the presentation.
  • File format should be PowerPoint [.PPT]
  • Poster should be containing a single slide/image only (in landscape format). The file should be in PNG, JPEG format. The file should be more than 7 MB and less than 15 MB in size preferably in landscape format.
  • Please bring all files (Final paper/poster) in your own pendrive to the venue. Do not forward to IDA until further notified. Also keep a backup on Your mail/spare drive to account for any technical breakdown. All Presentations will be submitted via published guidelines.
  • A unique number will be allotted to each presenter once the schedule is released. You will also be given a time schedule for your presentation according to your unique ID. Please be present at the presentation venue at least 30 mins before your allocated time slot.
  • Only Single screen multimedia projectors will be provided for presentation.
  • The official language of the meeting and all communication must be in English.
  • No commercial product endorsement will be permitted.
  • There shall be only three best papers & posters selected for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position for both students and doctors. The decision of the judges shall be final.

  • The oral presentation for each demonstration should be no longer than 5-7 minutes.
  • All displays, including charts, models, projects and screen, etc. must be confined to the table top. Signs hanging below the table level (towards the floor) will not be permitted. Displays must not exceed more than 3 feet above the table top.
  • The name of the student’s college or the name of any other college must not be visible on the exhibit or any materials during the judging session.
  • Amplified sound devices, heavy office equipment, patients or live models cannot be used.
  • Sound reproducing devices with individual earphones may be used. Videocassette recorders and monitors and computer terminals may be used at the student / clinician’s expense and only if these do not visually or audibly interface with the other clinics and that this equipment fits on the tabletop. The materials shown (videotape or computer program) must have been developed by the student clinician.
  • No advertising material may be distributed nor any material shown, which in any way resembles a commercial promotional effort. Drugs and products mentioned in the presentation generally should be identified by the chemical formulae or by generic name. Trade names may be used for identification and clarifications purposes only. Commercial promotion of a product or service by trade name is absolutely prohibited.
  • Clinicians must report to the table clinic area in the exhibit hall half an hour before the judging session begins in order to set-up their clinics in time. Business attire is required for all clinicians.
  • No one, other than the student clinicians and judges, is permitted in the clinic area during the judging session. Any violation of the above regulations will automatically disqualify the student from above competition and the clinic will not be judged.
  • Topics include innovations in diagnostic, therapeutic or surgical modalities in following areas of dentistry:
    • Preventive
    • Restorative
    • Oral Surgery
    • Prosthodontics
    • Dental materials
    • Oral medicine and radiology
    • Dental public health
    • Periodontics
    • Paediatric and geriatric oral health Suggestions
  • Keep in mind that a table clinic is a tabletop demonstration and not an exhibit lecture or essay. Judges are looking for scientific/clinical substance and are not impressed with sophisticated gadgets etc.
  • The clinician should be prepared to answer questions regarding the clinic from the judges and from those viewing the presentation. If unable to answer a question, the student should say so.
  • No disclosure of personal details such as the participants name, college, etc. Once the registration is confirmed, a unique Id will be allotted to the participant.
  • Maximum 4 students can present per work model.

  • Each team must have exactly 4 participants. Teams with more or fewer members will be automatically disqualified. Registration is compulsory for all 4 participants. Replacement of any participant after registration is not allowed.
  • Respect & Fair Play: Participants must avoid cheating, interruptions, or any disruptive behavior.
  • Answering Protocol: Only the designated participant/team may answer when called upon.
  • Question Scope & Timing: Questions may cover dental or general topics; each answer must be given within the allotted time.
  • Judging: Points will be given based on accuracy.
  • The Quiz master’s decision will be final.

  • Each team must have exactly 4 participants. Teams with more or fewer members will be automatically disqualified. Registration is compulsory for all 4 participants. Replacement of any participant after registration is not allowed.
  • Respect & Decorum: No personal attacks, interruptions, or offensive language.
  • Speaking Order & Time: Follow the assigned order; stick to time limits.
  • Argument & Evidence: Support your points with facts, logic, or evidence; stay on topic.
  • Rebuttal: Refute opposing points respectfully.
  • The decision of the judges will be final.

  • Participants can choose topics of their own preference.
  • 4 minutes will be given to each participant to perform.
  • Limited crowd interaction is allowed. However, no interaction with Judges will be allowed.
  • The performance should not include the name of any college, staff, student, judge, or any element which can be used to identify these.
  • No content targeted towards any religion, caste, or ethnicity will be allowed. No jokes on any controversial topics are allowed. No vulgar or distasteful remarks towards any member of the population will be entertained. In case of any such events, students will be immediately disqualified.
  • Participants shall be judged on the basis of spontaneity, content, onstage presentation, and overall appeal of the stand-up.

  • Time allotted for each performance is 08-12 minutes. A maximum of 10-22 members in each group are allowed. If more, please specify with a reason. Registration is compulsory for all participants. Replacement of any participant after registration is not allowed.
  • There is no fixed theme for the fashion show. Teams can walk the ramp to a theme of their own choosing. The chosen theme should not be controversial.
  • A soft copy of audio is to be submitted by 3rd November 2025, 5pm to the respective student representative. No standby laptop or AUX will be available at the venue.
  • Music tracks should be in mp3 (audio) / mp4 (video) format only. Participants are requested to carry a copy of audio to the event in a pendrive.
  • No skits or use of mics will be permitted.
  • Costumes are to be managed by students. They won’t be allotted any costumes by the management. The costumes worn should be decent. Any kind of vulgarity is prohibited and won’t be tolerated. No use of fire or any equipment that is flammable will be allowed on stage.
  • Choice of song is open to the participants but the song should not have any slang or derogatory language.
  • The participants will be judged on Outfit, Fashion, Stage Confidence, Team coordination, Expressions and following bases.
  • Participants should reach the venue at least 1 hour prior to their performance. Participants are requested to take care of their belongings; if any loss occurs, management will not be responsible.
  • No costume change will be allowed in between the show. Participants are allowed to do only a single ad per person.
  • In case a participant is missing, no substitution at the last minute will be allowed. Participants should refrain from making such requests to the organizing committee.

  • Time allotted for each performance is 2-3 minutes.
  • Participants will not be allowed to refer to the lyrics while singing.
  • SOLO/DUET participation only.
  • A soft copy of audio is to be submitted by 3rd November 2025, 5pm to the respective student representative. No standby laptop or AUX will be available at the venue.
  • Music tracks should be in mp3 format only. Participants are requested to carry a copy of audio to the event in a pendrive.
  • The participants will be judged on the vocal range, vocal quality, clarity, rhythm, and their stage presence.
  • The participants should bring their own musical instruments if required in the performance and should inform the organising committee through their student representative well in advance.
  • Choice of song is open to the participants but the song should not have any slang or derogatory language.
  • Participants should reach the venue at least 1 hour prior to their performance. Participants are requested to take care of their belongings; if any loss occurs, management will not be responsible.

  • A soft copy of audio is to be submitted by 3rd November 2025, 5pm to the respective student representative. No standby laptop or AUX will be available at the venue.
  • Music tracks should be in mp3 (audio) / mp4 (video) format only. Participants are requested to carry a copy of audio to the event in a pendrive.
  • Costumes are to be managed by students. They won’t be allotted any costumes by the management.
  • Choice of song is open to the participants but the song should not have any slang or derogatory language. Any kind of vulgarity is prohibited and won’t be tolerated.
  • You can dance to any dance style and song choice. There are no restrictions for the same. Props are allowed.
  • The participants will be judged on Choreography, Costumes, Synchronization, Energy, Expressions and following bases.
  • Participants should reach the venue at least 1 hour prior to their performance. Participants are requested to take care of their belongings; if any loss occurs, management will not be responsible.

Solo Dance: The time limit is 2+1 minutes. (maximum 3 mins allowed)

Duet Dance: The time limit is 2+1 minutes. (maximum 3 mins allowed)

Group Dance: The time limit is 3 + 2 minutes. 8 - 15 members in each group. If more, please specify with a reason.
